THE WAY I WANNA GO TOUR STARTS APRIL 8 AT NASHVILLE’S RYMAN AUDITORIUM

NASHVILLE, TENN. (February 22, 2022) - MULTI-PLATINUM recording artist and entertainer Trace Adkins commands the SOLD-OUT crowd at NASCAR’s most iconic race this weekend singing the national anthem to ring in the DAYTONA 500 this past Sunday (2/20). As the season-opener for the NASCAR Cup Series, Adkins launched the momentous day with an appearance LIVE on Fox & Friends at the stadium. Watch the interview here.

In a recent interview with Taste of Country, Adkins says, “The one thing that still makes me nervous and gives me butterflies is singing the national anthem…The build-up to the anthem and the race and all is always great. And this year especially, because everybody's been kind of held back for the last couple years and not really able to get together and enjoy stuff. I think this year in Florida is going to be crazy.” Read the full interview here.

Celebrating the release of his acclaimed 25th anniversary album THE WAY I WANNA GO (Verge Records), Adkins is set to hit the road to continue his headlining THE WAY I WANNA GO TOUR with the first stop at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on April 8. Entertaining a nearly SOLD-OUT crowd, this performance marks Adkins’ Ryman return after his debut during his SONGS AND STORIES TOUR in 2012.

THE WAY I WANNA GO TOUR will continue through much of this year with dates extending from coast-to-coast, including Flint, Michigan, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Modesto, California, and more. See all upcoming tour dates and ticket info here: http://tadkins.co/TWIWGTour
