Riverfront Park bounces back from the flood in fine form with this year’s “Let Freedom Sing!” Fourth of July celebration, boasting a lineup that shines a light on all corners of Music City.

Country stars Trace Adkins and Julianne Hough head up the all-day event, and both will likely be bringing some brand-new tunes from their upcoming albums.

They’ll be joined by contemporary Christian music star Jaci Velasquez, the Nashville Symphony and American Idol alum Ayla Brown, who will sing the National Anthem.

The “Music City July 4th: Let Freedom Sing!” concert begins at 7 p.m. in Riverfront Park.

Deluxe Package Featuring Four Bonus Tracks Will Also Be Available Same Day

One of Nashville's most storied careers will take another step forward on August 17* as country star Trace Adkins releases the eagerly awaited Cowboy's Back In Town. The latest CD by the acclaimed singer, author, actor, commentator, and reality show star is the first for Show Dog - Universal Music, the new label headed by fellow superstar Toby Keith and producer Mark Wright.

The album is vintage Trace Adkins, with songs ranging from those celebrating love, like the tender "Still Love You," to those showcasing the rowdy side of country living, like the hilarious "Hold My Beer." Adkins is at the top of his game vocally, and the album shows him re-emerging as a top-flight songwriter, as he penned the title track, "Cowboy's Back In Town," with friends Jeff Bates and Kenny Beard, who co-produced along with Michael Knox (Jason Aldean).

The American Ride tour, featuring Toby Keith, Trace Adkins and James Otto, launched in Holmdel, N.J., over the weekend, and Trace says last year's trek with Toby was the catalyst for him changing record labels, moving from Capitol Nashville to Show Dog-Universal Music.

"Touring with Toby last year, it changed my career, because I got to see first hand not just the way his organization is run, but the fact that they still place a premium on having fun," says Trace. "That's why I got in this business in the first place, and that's where I want to be. I don't know how many more years I've got left in this business, but I want to have fun with the ones I do have left. This feels like a comfortable place and the right place for me to be able to do this. I'm glad that's where I'm at now."
