THE RETURN OF ELVIN

Earlier this year on the hit animated series, King of The Hill (FOX), Trace provided his voice for a character by the name of Elvin, a leader of a redneck gang who tries to convince Kahn to live the life of a rebel. The show's creators have invited Trace back and are planning to make Elvin a recurring character. Trace has already recorded an episode scheduled to air in early 2005.

Trace joined a star-studded cast for a television special honoring George Jones and his 50 years in country music.
PBS will broadcast the special, entitled "George Jones: 50 Years of Hits", on Thanksgiving night. The broadcast was taped Sept. 8 and 15 at the Acuff Theatre.

TRACE JOINS TOP STARS TO SUPPORT MUSIC EDUCATION

Trace Adkins, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Gloria Estefan, Willie Nelson and Bonnie Raitt are among the top recording stars taking part in the 2004 National Association for Music Education campaign. The PSA series, “Why Music?” will coincide with the start of the new school year in September and will feature musicians talking about the value and importance of music education.
